Everything catapults creative careers
Sunderland Creatives celebrates the work and creativity of students, graduates and staff from the Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries at University of Sunderland. The typographical identity of Sunderland Creatives expresses the creative disciplines available at the university subtly, allowing the students’ work to shine.

Adapting with the times
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the university were unable to have a physical degree show. We solved this problem by creating a website to showcase the faculty’s class of 2020 to the world. The website is built with the flexibility to scale over the coming years when more courses and disciplines are added to the university’s portfolio, including an archive that remembers past students’ successes.

What are the creative industries?
Printed collateral was aimed at school children who may be thinking about pursuing a creative career. The brochure includes interviews with university alumni who share their stories and give advice on breaking into the industry.

The website was successful in showcasing the achievements of over 150 students who would have otherwise been unable to present their years of hard work. To view the website go to sunderlandcreatives.co.uk
