Jumpin’ Hot Club

Jumpin’ Hot Club have been bringing rockin’ roots, country and blues, reggae and world music to the North East for over thirty years, supporting artists and showcasing the best of Roots music talent from around the world, creating a connected and energised community around Roots music in the North East.

Everything were approached to extensively rebrand Jumpin’ Hot Club. After researching the iconic history and heritage and delving through an impressive archive of posters and ephemera, we were inspired to create a logo that was an expressive representation of the Jumpin’ Hot Club ethos, celebrating the organisations bright future while referencing it’s eclectic past.

The logo utilised a hand drawn typeface that is energetic, musical and invigorating. A confident mono approach was taken which served to anchor the brand with an authority and experience which affirmed Jumpin’ Hot Club’s position as a driving force in the North East live entertainment industry.

A flexible and fluid set of templates was created for advertising gigs and events that were then distributed in and around the North East. Bright and vivid colours were used which referenced the energy audiences experience watching live music.

A new website was designed and built in WordPress enabling the site to be regularly updated with upcoming gigs, news, and allow users to view an archive of reviews, live performances, videos and images.

Merchandise was also designed which will allow the incredibly loyal fan base to be able to wear the logo with Northern pride.
