Chester Zoo
Chester Zoo is the largest zoo in the country and the most popular paid tourist attraction outside of London. Everything were commissioned to produce a zoo-wide range of learning and interpretation graphics for Chester Zoo, taking into account the very distinctive brand, learning and interpretation signage was produced to educate the general public in a unique way.

A new species illustration style was created making them more detailed, highlighting more specific anatomical features and adaptations. This more sophisticated illustrative style not only allowed audiences of all ages to clearly distinguish and compare different species, it also meant we could show visitors specific animal behaviours where photography was not available or suitable.

When presented in situ, the interpretation graphics offered a varied and appealing means of information-giving which was successful in educating, informing and entertaining a cross-generational audience.
