The message of Hope still fresh 30 years on
Everything are pleased to reveal the new Children North East rebrand.
Children North East approached Everything in April 2018, with the challenge of incorporating a new strapline into their current identity. After several discussions it was apparent that the previous identity wasn’t working as well as it could. Looking to solve this, we began by refreshing the brand identity to include ‘Because growing up can be hard’. The identity was designed to better encapsulate the purpose of Children North East, whose mission is that every child in the region grows up to be healthy and happy.
The original illustration of a girl called Hope, was designed by Lorraine Hindson back in the 1980’s when she was only six years old. We have updated Hope and placed her in a protective ‘C’ which symbolically shelters and supports all children in the North East.
Following on from the success of the refreshed identity, we have also developed the illustration styling which will be evident on all marketing materials, created a brand handbook and lot’s more which we will fully reveal over the coming months.
