North East Workforce Skills Programme
The North East Workforce Skills Programme is a European Social Fund (ESF) project, delivered by a consortium of Further and Higher Education providers in the North East, led by the University of Sunderland.
Worth £14,862,142, the programme aims to support more than 17,500 employees across the Tyne and Wear and Northumberland area by September 2023, through highly tailored training and development solutions for businesses; from learning basic skills right up to degree level.
Everything worked closely with University of Sunderland to create a dedicated brand for the programme, as well as a multi-channel advertising campaign, website and a range of marketing materials.
One of the key considerations when creating the brand identity for North East Workforce Skills Programme was to ensure it was representative of the wide range of forward thinking businesses who form the consortium. The brand needed to be highly impactful and work across a diverse range of sectors, from technology, training and education to manufacturing and engineering. A professional, dynamic and assured identity was created that consortium members could proudly display alongside their own brand to show their commitment to the programme.
To ensure that the identity was used consistently alongside the University of Sunderland, consortium partner and ESF brands, a brand guidelines document was created and distributed to all stakeholders. Alongside this, a range of marketing materials were created to promote and celebrate the programme, including a launch pack, flyer, merchandise, presentation templates and pop up banners.
A dedicated project website was created which served as a hub of vital information for all things North East Workforce Skills. The site is vibrant and engaging, yet still very easy to navigate and find information, allowing visitors to meet the partners of the programme and register their interest in all of the exciting opportunities on offer.
To promote the launch and raise awareness of the programme Everything worked closely with the North East Workforce Skills Programme project team to create a multi-channel adverting campaign that included Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, as well as adverts for press in publications such as North East Times and BDaily.
The North East Workforce Skills Programme launched on 23 Sept 2021, successfully introducing the programme to the North East’s major businesses.
